The stone with the metal hoop was erected in 1989 in cooperation with the Hochsauerlandkreis, the OIpe district and the Märkischer Kreis. On the side of the metal tire it says: Duchy of Westphalia, Kurköln and Grafschaft Mark. Above are the abbreviations for the circles: HSK, OE and MK

The "Drei-Grafschaft-Grenzstein" (three-counties boundary stone), or our affectionately known as the "three-circle stone", is the border point between the DUCHY of WESTFALEN / KURKÖLN / COUNTY MARK. In addition, it is today's border point between the Hochsauerlandkreis, the Olpe district and the Märkischer Kreis.
