The place is very impressive. Nature has its roots over the millennia. The area of the falls is reached from the paved road.

Butines waterfalls
The Butines waterfalls are located in Pinzano, in the Val Cosa, and are a series of gorges and waterfalls carved into the rock by the Pontaiba stream which marks the border and crosses three municipalities in the foothills. The main watercourses of the valley, the Cosa streams and Pontaiba, have created, in addition to the waterfalls, numerous splendid and unique natural sceneries.
