The Cathedral of St. Mary and Cecilia was the cathedral of the former Roman Catholic diocese of Verden, after the introduction of the Reformation in Verden in 1568 to the Peace of Westphalia in 1648 the Lutheran prince-bishops of Verden. Today it houses the Protestant-Lutheran cathedral community in Verden.
