    In the middle of the district of Rayen in the north of Neukirchen-Vluyn is the Rayener Berg with a height of 63 meters above sea level. The mountain is mainly planted with beeches and oaks and designated as a nature reserve.
    A brick windmill was built here in 1820 and operated until 1928/29. After renovation work (the wings were dismantled) it is now privately owned.
