After the Cristo del Camino chapel, the town of Llanes begins, a pretty fishing town that is a popular holiday destination in summer and is then popular with Spanish and international guests. Llanes is rich in monuments. The city walls from the 13th century and buildings from the Middle Ages have been partially preserved. The historic old town with its churches and the Gothic and Baroque palaces is a listed building.
