Ahrensburg Castle is located in the southern area of the rectangular castle island. This was originally conditionally fortified with its ditch fed by the Hunnau, a tributary of the Alster, and a surrounding wall. The elongated castle pond formed from the widened moat to the east served as a reservoir for the operation of the water mill, which was once part of the estate management.

Super beautifully preserved building of the old water mill. Filled with wild wine and old millstones on the wall. The house's winter garden is enviable. The path in front of the building is also an eye-catcher.
