The trip was worth it, very beautiful castle with a small exhibition. The castle itself has a special flair. If you love castles, you should take some time and visit them thoroughly. The Riegersburg has six gates - the Steinkellertor, Cillitor, Burgertor, Annentor, Lichteneckertor, Pyramidentor and finally the Wenzeltor.
There is also a castle blacksmith there: Forging a knife yourself is simply a special experience. You do every step yourself and at the end you can take home a 100% homemade knife.

A picture-book castle. You can conquer the picturesque Riegerburg on various tours inside and / or outside, watch the happy grunting pigs in the moat and see birds of prey flying. Afterwards, a stop at the castle tavern is worthwhile.
