On the headland Blåvands Huk, near the westernmost lighthouse Blåvandshuk Fyr, there is a concrete tower. This was part of the Atlantic Wall. Here was the position Bamberg, a radio measuring device of the type 'Seeriese', also known as 'Würzburg-Giant'. The concrete tower is fenced and not accessible. On walks you can see him from pretty much all directions.

The lighthouse is listed and operational. The beam of light can be seen 26 miles away and warns sailors of Horns Rev reef. The lighthouse master's house next to the tower now houses a Horns Rev exhibition.

Right next to Blåvand Lighthouse are remnants of the Atlantic Wall from the Second World War. Here you can guess what was going on at that time on the Danish west coast. In addition to the bunker remains that almost disappear in the water at high tide, this impressive tower is still pretty well preserved on the dunes.
