A pond located above the glass stream. It gets its name from the numerous amphibians and amphibians that occur here. It is full of toad spawning during the spawning season. Here the young toads are taken care of for all of Freiburg.

A nice, quiet place with seating by the pond, which is actually called Krottenweiher.

In 2004, a sedimentation basin was built in the rear part of the pond to collect suspended solids. A cross dam separates the basin from the rest of the pond.
