The Hag was formerly a natural park with its more than 200 year old trees, the center of attraction for the Hirschbergers and their guests. In the 1970s, he fell victim to border security measures. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Citizens' Initiative Rettet den Hag and the Frankenwaldvereins-Ortsgruppe have tried to restore the nature park in its old beauty. The suspension bridge, hiking trails and the longest bench in the world The seat and backrest are made from one trunk are the first visible successes.
