At the beginning of the tour on the asphalt road towards the wash lake, look around every now and again and look to the south! Church tower, meadows and the mountain panorama behind - that's where your heart goes. Unless you circle around in a clockwise direction, then you run into this idyll anyway.

The Waschsee is located near the center of Iffeldorf and is the southernmost lake in a chain of small lakes in the Osterseengebiet. The lakes are fed by groundwater from a whole series of spring funnels and diffuse inlets, which are mainly located in the southern area on or in the Wasch, Schiffhütten, Seng and Großer Ostersee.
