The property of this old restaurant in Munich, below Oberföhring on the Isar slope, is on Römerstrasse, which connected Augsburg with the salt restaurants in the Salzkammergut two thousand years ago. Until 1158, the bridge over the Isar destroyed by Henry the Lion was in the immediate vicinity - this was the reason for the founding of Munich. The foundation of the building, which now houses the beer industry of the same name in Sankt Emmeram, was already mentioned in the 14th century as "Mill at St. Emmeram". In 1711 the "New Mill" Sankt Emmeram was built.
