The local history museum is located in the Motzen guest house. The museum's permanent exhibition presents the history of the town from prehistory and early history to the 20th century. It focuses on home economics, trades, agriculture, and the brick and plastics production that once existed in the region. The development of water sports, golf, and fishing in and around Lake Motzen is also explored. Handicrafts and agricultural equipment are on display outside.
