The theater association Turm 20 - formerly Limbic 2000 - caused a stir two years ago with its performances in the botanical garden. Now the dedicated collective has succeeded in converting the vacant Maximilian Defense Tower 20 on the Pöstlingberg into a spectacular outdoor theatre. William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream premiered on July 21.

Tower 20 "Cäcilia - The Maximilian tower chain around Linz had a total of 32 towers. The fortifications were completed in 1832, but were soon abandoned for military purposes. The towers were sold and given over to civilian use.

Today's use as a summer theater - Today this tower belongs to the Diocese of Linz. The theater association Turm 20 has found its home there for two years and performs theater there in July and August.
