🐾🌸 The Pets Cemetery at Powerscourt Estate is a unique and charming part of the gardens, serving as the final resting place for the beloved pets of the Wingfield and Slazenger families. Situated in a serene area adorned with vibrant azaleas, rhododendrons, and roses, this cemetery is the largest of its kind in any private Irish garden. Visitors, especially children, will enjoy reading the delightful and sometimes amusing names and stories of the pets, from ponies to a prolific Jersey cow named Eugenie. It's a heartwarming and memorable spot to explore 🐶🐱

If you can still read the animals' gravestones, a cow is also buried. Her name is written on the gravestone, how old she got and how much milk she gave. This of course makes the animal cemetery a highlight.
