Nico Mausch is one of those cyclists who seemingly never get enough. Nico is known in the ultra-cycling scene as a colorful dog and for him a bike ride easily takes 500 kilometers and more. But do not worry, this tour is not about emulating Nico. It may well be that you meet the extreme cyclist here: Nico is a good friend of innkeeper Lukas, who runs his BikeHotel Terzer here in the South Tyrolean Unterland. He likes to come here to train and that alone is a kind of accolade for the hotel and the beautiful area here. This good 100-kilometer tour is perfect for kicking in the new season. After a rather flat warm-up in the picturesque Adige Valley, at Mezzocorona it bends north into the beautiful Non Valley, where you first pedal steeply uphill to Sporminore. Here you can treat yourself to a hot coffee and a small snack, then continue to the freshly fortified continue to Lake Santa Giustina. On a beautiful bike path you can now gently roll downhill until you are back in the Adige Valley, through which you come back relaxed to the hotel. There you can treat yourself to a delicious pizza in the in-house restaurant or relax in the sauna. Maybe Nico will cross your path here - if you ask him, he can give you tips for a few extra kilometers the next day.You can find all information about the hotel here: gasthof-terzer.it/en/hotel.html.
