@Géry VdB , is also a nice tour, always along quiet and traffic-calmed roads.

@Hans , That went well with merino socks and bodice and a very breathable winter vest of good quality, not to mention good overshoes and gloves.

I came home as good as sweat free and could easily go a little further in this equipment.

@Patrick Van Dyck Patrick , I also bought a bottom bodice and socks made of merino wool, big difference. Only my hands are numb from the cold. Which gloves do you / your colleagues have?

@Géry VdB , I have been wearing ROECKL gloves with a gore-tex membrane for years and also have a pair with a windstopper membrane.

Both super warm because your hands stay dry in them.

I always buy my gloves that don't fit too well.

@Patrick Van Dyck I bought the sealzskin waterproof extreme cold weather high visible at AS adventure, according to the reviews these were the best choice for extreme cold and they fit like a 2nd skin.
