The promising tour takes us from the cemetery in the north-east of Llucmajor to the Witches' Mountain, the Puig de ses Bruixes and the Puig de Galdent (420 m above sea level).
First we follow the little-used Camí de Galdent for about 800 m before we turn right onto the even less frequented Camí de Ferrutxelles…
Starting point:
At the cemetery in the northeast of Llucmajor
Character:
On the first and last stretch of road; otherwise forest paths and partly crisp paths with rough ground and not inconsiderable incline/decline. Sturdy shoes absolutely necessary!
A notice:
Please do not hike the tour like this, because…
It's a dream, this weather and this light! And then it really seems to be a witch mountain, with the paths (and fence holes) you had to take!... 📷🙌👏🔝🤩🤩
Very beautiful! And with the closed gates and holes in fences to bypass the closed gate is a problem that Spain will probably not solve so quickly - unfortunately.
@Burkhard: Thank you Burkhard. Yes, luckily we chose the right place for the day and were able to enjoy a lot of warm sunlight ☀️🤗. The tour was very nice, even if the paths weren't always easy to hike and I even lay down on the slippery small stones.
@Karin: Thank you Karin. Unfortunately, you are right about the closed gates. That probably won't be resolved any time soon. Here you had to find the place in the fence first, because it was a good distance away. Where the gate is, the wall was over 1.5 m high and then there was another fence with barbed wire.
Hi Andreas! But you were lucky that there were no free-roaming dogs on the area with the gate! 😉 We had that years ago, we also unexpectedly ended up on private property. Suddenly loudly barking dogs appeared, we will never be able to do it again as fast as we climbed over a raised wall 😂
Nice tour…
@Frank: Hey Frank! We would have missed free-roaming dogs... but fortunately they only barked in the distance from a neighboring property. They should also have been very well behaved, because there weren't any fences, gates or anything like that in the mountains, or by the quarry or afterwards, which…
