Today was actually a hiking day, but a necessary doctor's appointment was more important. But in order to do something else, we drove to Paffendorf Castle and walked a bit through the autumnal park.

Please note the opening times in winter.

We knew that but had forgotten. When we got there we were lucky. Workers have left a gate open on the right side of the castle. We went in there. When we wanted to leave through the castle courtyard after two hours, people who were setting up a Christmas market told us that we were actually not allowed to be there.
