From Schwedt you drive directly back to the Alte Oder and thus into the unique National Park Lower Oder Valley. If you do not just want to admire the wonderful polder landscape from the bike, make a stop at one of the observation huts or towers. With a little patience, you can also watch birds. Finally, you will return to the Oder and leave the national park at Gartz. This now extends exclusively on the Polish side of the river. You follow the Oder for a few more miles to Mescherin. Behind the village you leave the river, which now flows to Poland. You continue to cycle in Germany. In light up and down it goes through a wonderfully rural area, past colorful fields, lush green meadows and through romantic woodland. In the dreamy village of Blankensee you reach your destination today. Here you can end the day idyllic at one of the bathing lakes. To stay overnight you will find here a campsite and apartments and guesthouses.
