The Rhönhof is only a few meters away from the Hochrhöner, so I can start straight away in the morning.
The route climbs steadily behind Gotthards, except for a short stretch of asphalt, it is mostly on wonderful paths and forest paths with beautiful views of the hills to Wasserkuppe and Milseburg.
