From Grindelwald it goes over passes and through valleys to Reichenbach. The first night you spend in Wengen, which is only accessible by train or on foot. The idyllic Griesalp is the stage destination of the second day.Let's start at the train station in Grindelwald, from where you take a course on the fantastic mountains. The trail leads steadily uphill and impresses with its proximity to the mighty rock and ice of the Eiger North Face. You follow the Romantikweg over the gentle alpine pastures, where cows graze cuddly. Again and again you cross smaller mountain streams that lead crystal clear water and are perfect for a cool foot bath. The highest point of the first day you reach on the Kleine Scheidegg. A deep blue lake and nostalgic Alpine hotels provide a magnificent backdrop. The Mendelssohnweg takes you to Allmend. In the local inn you can take a break and enjoy the view. The town of Wengen is your destination today - a car-free mountain village, which impresses with its fabulous location. Wengen is a popular summer and winter resort and offers a good selection of accommodation and restaurants.
