    After a visit to the brewery in Warstein the day before yesterday, we went on a hiking tour near Warstein yesterday. Start was the Bilstein stalactite cave. From there we passed an animal park with red deer and the lynx area. Then it went along a fairly large part of the forest route, which made a good

  • Hello Lars, nice tour and great pictures, including that of the fire salamander. We were made aware of the salamander plague last week at a hiking car park in the Arnsberg Forest. I then informed myself on the internet at home and came across this:

  • Thanks for the information. But the fire salamander was in the Bilstein cave. The fire salamanders living there are known to the operators and were shown to us during the inspection. Announcement is therefore not necessary.
