Today, on the second leg of the sandstone route, you will cycle over the hills of the Baumberge until it becomes flatter in the last third. On the way you have enough opportunities to take a break.Shortly after driving out of the center of Nottuln you will reach Stevertal. Along the small river Stever you roll gently downhill through the idyllic valley. At the old watermill you leave it and start with a crunchy climb that leads you to the tree-tops. Here in the bottom of the hilly landscape is the bright Baumberger sandstone, from which so many impressive buildings of the region were built. The highest point of this ascent and the entire stage you reach in the middle of the silent forest of the nature reserve Baumberge. Surrounded by majestic deciduous trees, you will roll down the natural trails again. Behind the forest welcomes you the open hills, from whose heights you can enjoy beautiful views. Passing through wide fields, meadows and some woodland you cycle in constant ups and downs through the rural idyll. To regain your strength on the way, you can, for example, stop by at Gut Holtmann or in Darup.A few kilometers before Latvia you will enjoy a fast descent and then continue on a flat stretch. Lette himself also invites you to take a break and visit the glass museum. Then you continue towards Coesfeld, the stage destination. At the gates of the city you will meet the river Berkel. From here you follow its shore, which brings you to the heart of the stage goal. In Coesfeld, after the challenging stage you can comfortably end the day in the marketplace in one of the restaurants or cafés.
