MANACOR - SANT LLORENÇ - SON CARRIÓ - SON SERVERA - ARTÀ - MANACOR

    The Via Verde

The Via Verde - or in Catalán Via Verda - is a 28.6 km long disused railway line between Manacor and Artà, which was expanded a few years ago as a hiking and cycling trail. The Via Verde takes you past beautiful Mediterranean

What a beautiful bike path! Really nicely done, isn't it? It really makes you want to cycle around the island. Unfortunately we can't take our bikes with us if we really make it to Mallorca again...

    Have fun Andrew!

@Frank: There are many places on the island where you can rent bikes... from touring bikes to gravel/racing bikes to MTBs and often as bio or e-bikes.

@Burkhard We thought so too. There are now many railway tracks in Germany... but I have no idea how they are laid out and unfortunately they are often very short.
