The hike begins and ends at the mountain station of the Mendelbahn.

From the Mendel Pass, the hiking trail leads over the Mendelkamm to the Roen Alm (Malga di Romeno). From here there are two ways to Roen.

At 2,116 m, the highest mountain in the Mendola Mountains offers a magnificent 360-degree panorama.

We climb steeply up the mountain and under

You can't get enough of the great panorama. A beautiful mountain world and you don't give yourself a break to hike many mountains. Great ❗️ Greetings from the uncomfortable cold NRW 👋🤧🧣

@Silbersöckchen Thanks for your nice comment! The panoramic view was really terrific! It was just a pity that we couldn't stay longer at the top - the wind was freezing cold (I already had my hiking gloves on...). The temperatures at the top were probably only in the single digits, while it was still

Such weather creates the best conditions for great photos. Extremely clear air, fair weather clouds and a magnificent landscape. Enjoys it.
