Our outdoor activity starts and ends in St. Anton at the valley station of the Mendelbahn.

The impressive funicular, which was opened in 1903, overcomes a difference in altitude of 854 meters over a distance of 2.37 kilometers in twelve minutes and takes us from a height of 510 meters to the mountain

After a relaxing day on the terrace of our holiday apartment reading and playing, we are drawn back to nature today. Yesterday's thunderstorms in the late afternoon drove the muggy air away, so we really feel like going on a nice tour again.

Since 24 degrees in the shade are still announced for Tramin

This brings up memories for us 😉👍🏻🇮🇹🥰⛰

We actually walked down the Furglauer Scharte last week because we somehow wanted to go back to Kaltern 😳

Be glad you saved yourself that, because that was really megaheavy 😉

There was enough material for a tasty mushroom meal👍. And of course great views again

@wittho1 That's quite a descent that you have to go down through the Furglauer Scharte! You can be really proud of yourself that you did it... 👍😊

@Peter und Sigrid Oh yes, there were so many great mushrooms - in some places the forest floor was thickly overgrown with mushrooms. A glorious sight! Unfortunately, we don't know enough about mushrooms to create a delicious meal from them... Glad you enjoyed the views. 👍 Greetings from both of us 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

It was so nice to hike this round with you again. Great photos and nice descriptions, everything fits! 👌 Have you ever thought about writing a hiking guide? But you probably don't have the time for that. 👍😂

Wonderful round with very nice views 😍.

With so many transmission masts on the Penegal, do you still have room to enjoy the view🤣?

It's a pity that you couldn't decide to combine these transmitters on a few masts🙈.

Have a nice and successful weekend to you 🥾🥾🥾🥾.

Another great tour, which once again brings back memories for us. The view from Penegal is just awesome. Greetings from the very autumnal Wendeburg from both of us 🙋 ♀️🙋 ♂️

@Silbersöckchen That makes us very happy - we were also very happy to take you with us on the virtual hike... 😉 Writing a hiking guide would be a great idea - but thanks to komoot you don't actually need it anymore, you just have to follow us... 😂 Greetings from both of us 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

@Rudolf The number of transmission masts up there is already enormous - the reception was pretty good anyway... 👍 We're very pleased that you enjoyed the tour. 😊
