On the second leg around Oldenburg you drive from Friedrichsfehn to the north. Past the lake Woldsee you cycle over the villages Metjendorf and Neuenkruge into the nature reserve Mansholter Holz and Schippstroth. Here in the forest you will find a very special natural idyll with lots of old and dead wood. Then it goes on through the parkland of Ammerlandes in the residence Rastede, where you can take a leisurely break.Rested, you then cycle through the beautiful castle park into the Wesermarsch, which stretches completely flat to the horizon. You will pass medieval settlements and centuries-old farmhouses with striking white trusses and low-set thatched roofs. Lushly flowering front gardens adorn the streets.Towards the end of the stage, you will meet the Moorhauser Polder and then Hunte again, the shore of which you will follow to the starting point of the round in Oldenburg.
