At the end of the week I had the opportunity to refresh childhood memories on the Pfaffenstein in Saxon Switzerland. I started in Königstein. After the first ascent on the Malerweg, above Pfaffendorf you walk comfortably along the wide, colorful field edge, where bumblebees and bees were buzzing. Great

  • Hello, @Berliner Wanderschuh.

Saxon Switzerland is really a uniquely beautiful hiking area.

I recognized some photos because I hiked the Malerweg in September this year.

  • Hello @Sven, Yes, the Malerweg has awakened from its slumber and has almost become a bit too popular. As children we traveled a lot in Saxon Switzerland, but never on multi-day tours. That must be great!

  • @Berliner Wanderschuh, hiking the Malerweg was a very nice tour with gorgeous views. I felt really comfortable there, even if the stair and ladder passages were sometimes very taxing for me.
