Take the old chain and install a chain lock or rivet. At least you can drive like this on Sunday. 😊

Does the chainring look like it has saw teeth? Then the chainring is worn out and needs to be replaced, as does the cassette. Cassette should last about 4 chains per 5000km, i.e. 20000km, chainring around 10000km
