After a relaxing night on the Mitteralm, you hike along the track on the flank of the Gschwandtpfeiler. At 1,420 meters, the beautiful Soinalm lies in a cauldron. Lush meadows and the picturesque Soinsee are fantastic photo opportunities. Although the Soinalm is not managed, a short break is worthwhile here anyway. From the green pasture, continue uphill. At the Kesselwand you turn off to the Lacherspitze. At the 1,724 meter high summit you have reached the highest point of this two-day tour. The Lacherspitze is one of the lesser-known hiking destinations, so you can enjoy the view to the fullest. If you want, you can make a detour to the well-known Wendelstein after descending from the Lacherspitze back to the Kesselwand. At the summit is the mountain station of the rack railway, so the Wendelstein is a heavily used destination.Through the intense green of the Legerwald, the path leads you down into the valley. On the way you will be rewarded with magnificent views and meet again and again on clear mountain streams.Soon you will reach the outskirts of Bayrischzell. Before you go to the station, you can marvel at the beautiful waterfall in the Legerwaldgraben. Here, the crystal-clear water crashes over the rock into the depths. From the wooden bridge that leads over the gorge, you can watch the spectacle. From the waterfall it is only a few meters to the train station in Bayrischzell. The journey by train to Munich takes less than one and a half hours.
