On this stage you follow the Rems two dozen kilometers upstream. Start is in Schorndorf. You drive through the pretty city park with its small lake and a great playground. After leaving the city behind, you will reach the Rems again. After half an hour you arrive in the picturesque town Plüdershausen with its interesting half-timbered houses and the sculpture garden. Immediately after Plüdershausen are some great digger lakes left and right of the Rems. Here you can swim a few laps.Around the middle of the stage you will manage a small climb. From the top you have a great view of the Remstal and Lorch, which is known for its impressive monastery. On the beautifully landscaped bike path you continue along the Rems. Shortly before Schwäbisch Gmünd, your stage destination, parts of the Limes were reconstructed. A blackboard informs you about the famous defenses of the Romans. The stage ends in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The Rems flows through the middle of the village. On its banks lies the magnificent city garden. There, the Josefsbach flows into the Rems and next to the city garden invites the beautiful green area on Josefsbach to stroll.
