    What do little boys and older men have in common? No matter if it's hot or rainy 🌧 you have to test your new toy directly!
    Yesterday bought a new sat nav, software installed and linked. Today sensors are installed and then tested. So far works well with Komoot, better than expected. Two photos have not found the right position, but in my opinion to cope. Let's wait for the next tour, but for now I'm reassured.🤗

    You were not sure last week. Which one did you choose?

    I opted for the Garmin 830. The 1030 would have been better with the big bundle as it was only 40 € more expensive but again very big. We still have the Oregon and an older GPSMap and they are also very large, but have topographic maps. The record and the transmission in Komoot yesterday worked flawlessly and almost automatically. The MTB additional functions also worked and were displayed. This was not the case with the test published by GPS-Radler. Next, I will broadcast a tour of Komoot that includes a portion of unrecorded trails and trails. Let's see how that works, I'll report. Another topic would be linking to the KIOX system.

    I still have the 520 and still problems, that you know, for that reason very brave. Then I'll wait and see what you have to report. There is not much in the net yet. Maybe it's not bad to read a recent review of a normal user who is uninhibited

    @The MTB Machine
    Yes, but the 830 is nice and compact and has a really good mount. Is definitely better than always to have the fat phone on the handlebars. With the pictures, however, is annoying. I have to look at the new GoPro 7 and especially the lens. According to the description, they can make pictures by voice commands or a smaller mobile phone that can be easily stowed away and brought out quickly. Let's see🧐

    All well and good, but how do you know in retrospect where the pictures are to be positioned EXACTLY ...? By the memory? Feeling? If you take over 50 pictures, then ....Or do you take the track extra with Komoot - with the help of a mobile phone that works as a camera ...?
