From Hope, this challenging tour starts across the hills of the Peak District towards the Ladybower Reservoir. On the way there are great trails, a few steep climbs, fun descents and beautiful views of you.Start of the tour is in Hope, a small town on the edge of the Peak District, which you can reach from Sheffield by car, but also totally uncomplicated by train. You start at Café Adventure - maybe you enjoy a freshly brewed coffee before your adventure? Now begins the quite technical tour, which transports you right at the beginning over cobbled streets and rocky steps to a great vantage point with a view of the reservoir. Above, it pays to stop and take a deep breath - then follows a magnificent descent on an ancient path that brings you down through wide meadows to the lake. The descent is not particularly difficult, so you can occasionally let your eyes wander into the distance to enjoy the great vision.Arriving at the lakeshore, a flat, relaxed passage awaits you - always along the water, you drive casually towards the dam, where you once again have a particularly beautiful view of the lake. Then the route leads back to Hope - look forward to a delicious cake or a fresh sandwich in Café Adventure!
