Until around 2010, the Oehlener See was a body of water covering several hectares. Ice skating was practiced in winter, and in summer it was great for children and dogs to splash around in. Then it shrank more and more, and now there is only a puddle of about 20 square meters left.

Ohhh I have to be amazed, as a child I was there a long time ago, there was also a large expanse of water.
