The last stage of the Rheinburgenweg. However, we walk it from north to south. Already at the start (after a short ascent) the first highlight with the Rolandsbogen and the Rhine. Then it goes on beautiful and quiet hiking trails very hilly towards Remagen. There, the Applolinaris Church is a nice conclusion…
The Rolandsbogen is also a highlight for me. The view of the Rhine from there is beautiful👍👍
Great highlight with a great story
I don't want to be a spoilsport: But how do you get to stage 13 of the Rheinburgenweg at 1020 HM ?!
Hello Dieter, you are of course right, Garmin did not record the altitude correctly (no barometric altimeter...).
Still, something doesn't seem right: Lt. rheinburgenweg.com Stage 13 goes from Trechtingshausen to Bingen, and not from Rolandseck to Remagen. You obviously kept your finger on the keyboard for too long: Rolandseck-Remagen is stage 1 of the Rheinburgenweg in the north-south direction
@Dieter : Returns the tour from south-north or north-south. Also on rheinburgenweg.com
