Cycling in the footsteps of the Hohenzollern: On this more than 90 kilometer long themed cycle path between Ansbach and Nuremberg you will get interesting insights into the history of the German aristocracy, peppered by the beautiful nature. The tour starts in Ansbach. Be sure to check out the Ansbach Castle before rolling out of town along the Franconian Rezat. On the way you can expect numerous highlights and idyllic places. You are usually on well-developed bike paths on which it can drive excellent - and since the route is mostly slightly downhill, it rolls particularly well. From castle to monastery to cozy town - the bike path offers you a lot of variety and is also exciting for children. The last route you cycle on the great bike path along the Pegnitz up to your destination Nuremberg. There is still worth an extra round through the impressive old town. For a final stop you will find numerous restaurants here.On the way you have a good selection of restaurants and accommodation. So you can divide the distance freely, depending on the time and condition. More information about the bike path can be found here: erlebnisradweg-hohenzollern.de.Arrival and departure: From Nuremberg you come with the S4 in 40 minutes without stress to Ansbach.
