Weather Forecast

Orbit360 planned a gravel ride.

April 19, 2022

  • Orbit360

The route starts in beautiful Warnemünde directly at the ferry to Hohe Düne. The starting point is only 2 minutes from the train station and from large parking spaces and a camper van space. First you take the ferry to Hohe Düne (ferry trip is part of the route). The first few kilometers are easy cycling

The route along the Baltic Sea between Kuehlungsborn and Graal-Müritz should not be driven in the main season or on the weekend. The route is popular with tourists, whether 🦶 or by (e-)bike, it is best to start very early in Hohe Düne.

Thank you for the great route. The gravel racer will soon be at the start and I'm already looking forward to the first tours away from the other racetracks ;-)

I recommend starting very early in Warnemünde in the opposite direction. Take enough food with you, there are only sporadic gas stations or similar along the route, culinary highlight: Homemade fried fish from the cutter at Ribnitzer Fischer at km 36 / reverse km 178. Have fun :-)

all water/sea/Baltic Sea lovers will get their money's worth - good, beautiful street mix, as well as water-forest-heath mix - fantastic - don't forget mosquito repellent.

Start early, in case of continuous rain or other adversities, the tour can be easily divided. Plan food and drink well on the route

A rolling track. Many thanks to the scout Stefan! Contrary to another comment, I have to disagree with the trailer suitability. Due to the rain, I had considerable problems making headway at times.

Yes, the track was fun. But in the course of the comprehensive comprehensive insurance mentality that is spreading, I would like to ask the organizers and especially Scout Stefan to make the weather a little more pleasant next time ;-)
