The Dahme takes you out of the city along its banks. If you follow the small river that flows into the Spree in Köpenick upriver, it happens by itself. It connects the metropolis with beautiful destinations outside Berlin and traverses the surrounding area of the city. The Dahme bike path along the river ensures that you can always roll on quiet roads and fully enjoy your tour. The journey begins in Köpenick, where the Dahme flows into the Spree, and leads over about 25 kilometers to Königs Wusterhausen. If you want, you can easily extend it, because the Dahme cycle path goes even further - it is a total of 123 kilometers long. From the beginning this tour is idyllic: you always follow the water, cycle along the river and its numerous lakes. Shortly after the start a nice change awaits you with a short ferry ride.Again and again you come through small villages, drive over picturesque avenues or through shady woods. From the nice café to the cozy lido there are suitable resting places for every taste. A real enjoyment tour that ends after about 25 kilometers at the lock Neue Mühle. From here it is still about 1.5 kilometers to the S-Bahn station Königs Wusterhausen. With the S-Bahn you can easily travel back to Berlin.
