In the Garnitzenklamm you walk alongside emerald-green, roaring streams past fascinating and colorful rock formations - created by the gigantic forces of nature. Starting point of the tour is the Klammwirt in Möderndorf. From there the route leads you directly into the gorge.Along the way, a grandiose and rough landscape opens up, accompanied by the noise of the Garnitzenbach. He has carved himself deep into the rock, polished it so that it gives you a fascinating insight into the interior of the mountains and the rocks. Which forces act here and how the rocks determine the formation of the gorge is shown by the geotrail.The first half of the way you hike uphill, after just under four kilometers, you have then reached the highest point, the rest of the route is relaxed. From the chapel of St. Urbani you have a great view down into the previously crossed gorge. Finally, you can treat yourself to traditional dishes at the Klammwirt.
