You are more like a relaxed hike today? Then you're in the right place at Pressegger See. The natural waters are surrounded by mountains, forests and meadows and offers a beautiful backdrop. Starting point of the six-kilometer round around the lake is at the lido Hermagor.Especially at the landscape around the Pressegger See is the high reed population. The shrubs grow up to three meters high - a welcome retreat for many birds. Enjoy the characteristic flora and fauna as you wander the moor. Just before you get back to the beach, it's worth taking a quick detour to the Radniger waterfall.Back at the starting point, it is called walking shoes and swimming trunks. With up to 28 degrees water temperature, the "Bath of the Gail Valley" is one of the warmest lakes in Austria. One reason for the pleasant temperatures are the many hours of sunshine in the region. You can glide over the water with the stand-up paddle board, jump from the pedal boat into the water or just sizzle in the sun. The lido is open from 8:30 to 19:00 from May to September. Adults pay 4.50 euros, children half.
