Olten is a city that has produced an amazing number of Swiss writers. As a wanderer, you can follow in the footsteps of writers and perhaps find out what is so special about Olten that it has inspired so many people to write.On various tours, you can immerse yourself in the life of Oltner authors Pedro Lenz, Alex Capus, Franz Hohler and ten other writers. At 60 listening stations, you can scan QR codes on the go with your mobile phone and listen to two to four-minute stories that the authors themselves read aloud and have something to do with the location and their personal history.In this tour we introduce you to the circular route of Pedro Lenz. Starting point of the approximately three and a half kilometers long hike is at the Tourist Information in Olten. From here you go comfortably on the banks of the Aare along in the historic city center. Then you cross the river on the impressive wooden bridge and walk past the Volière and the school. About the station it goes back to the starting point of the tour. The following audio stations can be found on the way: Stadttheater, Klosterkirche, bookcase, rifle mat, gazebo, bird species / aviary, bifang / schoolhouse and impeller.The walks of other writers, including a family tour, also begin at the tourist office.
