On this promising hike, you will explore the mountains on the border between Germany and Austria. From Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal, the route leads you first on quiet roads uphill and over wide mountain meadows - already here you can enjoy beautiful views. At the Mittelalp, you have not only brought almost all vertical meters behind you, you have earned yourself a stop with panoramic views here. After your rest you stroll over beautiful, broad hiking trails in the direction Schrattenwangalpe. On the way you can watch happy cows grazing in the vast meadows. From the Schrattenwangalpe it is only a few steps to the top station of the Söllereckbahn. With the gondola you float down to the end very comfortable down to the valley to Oberstdorf.Tip: Riezlern, the starting point of the hike, can easily be reached with the Walserbus Line 1 from Oberstdorf. The same line takes you from the Söllereckbahn back to Oberstdorf.
