April 20, 2019
The eleven-kilometer Jurassic hike starts in Küttigen. From here it goes first to the Staffelegg and then to Gisliflue. In Aarau the hike finally ends.It starts at the stop "Kreuz" in Küttigen, which is approached by the bus line 1 or the postbus. From here you walk out of the village towards Staffelberg. After you have walked briefly on the road, you reach the beautifully landscaped Geoweg and the pass. If you do not want to climb the pass on foot, you can also take the postbus to the top of the pass. After enjoying the beautiful view from the Staffelegg, you continue along the ridge until you reach the saddle gate. From here it goes up to the Gisliflue. From a height of 772 meters you can enjoy a wonderful view and it is worth taking a break: At the fireplace you can barbecue and strengthen yourself with your brought provisions. With new strength, you make your way down the descent and walk back to the gate and continue down to Biberstein. In Biberstein, the destination of the hike, you can either walk along the river Aare back to the starting point or take the comfortable bus number 4.
