If you like challenges, this tour is recommended. Good waterproof footwear is recommended. Even then, there is no guarantee that you will come across as dry.

    Haha, welcome to Drenthe Willemien!

Thank you Theo. Once it dries from above, it comes from below. The shoes are full of water and they are now drying upside down after rinsing. Despite that, we enjoyed the trip and the beautiful weather.

And to think that Bert had downloaded this route via Wandelnet and before that

    also had to pay 2.50

Oh, that's sour. Hopefully it won't stop you from strolling through Drenthe more often

Certainly not. We like to get off the beaten track.

This looks like Slow Trip Balloo. When Lena and I walked it, the part from the Gagels to the Westeinde was so wet that it was impossible to get through, especially when the sole of the shoe also appeared to be hanging half loose! In addition, we got a heavy shower on the head.

    Partly because of this one

Hilko, once the feet are wet it doesn't matter anymore whether they get wetter. For us, the wettest part came towards the end and it certainly didn't spoil our enjoyment of the trip.
