At the request of a single lady who has never been to the world's largest park cemetery since growing up, we are visiting the Ohlsdorf cemetery today. We meet shortly before ten at the Ohlsdorf S-Bahn station for a tour of discovery. I've been here many times and yet this time I discovered something

Exactly, I was here as a child and my grandparents found their final resting place in this wonderful park cemetery. I really enjoyed walking through the Cordespark. So enchanted and such a peaceful place.

I am happy to be there again for the rhododendron bloom!

... good that you didn't mention that there

Thank you. Exactly, I had forgotten the mulled wine, although not only tasty, but also comfortably warming. That was also necessary yesterday.

Great, nice round in Hamburg's Schiedwetter. I was there too in July 2020.

Nice mood pictures, it must be a very nice big cemetery, I've never seen it. A happy New Year!

"Die last Ehre" is the name of a humorous, biting quatrain by Eugen Roth with which he refers to hypocritical "peaceful politeness".

I would have liked to have used the opportunity to add this pretty verse here, but the permission of the copyright holder is missing.

I wish you every success with googling
