    The approximately 60-kilometer-long Fricktaler Höhenweg leads you from Rheinfelden to Mettau. Here you will hike over excellent paths and forest trails from which you can enjoy beautiful views of nature and the vast landscape. Especially in spring, the countless flowering cherry trees in Fricktal are an absolute feast for the eyes. In summer, your palate will be happy about the sweet cherries, which you can pick from trees and enjoy.You can go to the Fricktaler Höhenweg in five stages. The milestones are Zeiningen, Wegenstetten, Frick and Sennhütten. Both the start and end points of the hike and the stage locations can be reached by public transport.Let's start the hike in Rheinfelden. From here you hike over the Sonnenberg, from whose viewing platform you enjoy a magnificent panoramic view, to Zeiningen. Through shady forests and over the fertile table Jurassic plateau, we continue towards Wegenstetten. On the way you will always come back to cozy barbecue areas that invite you to take a break.From the 749 meter high Tiersteinberg you will enjoy a fantastic view over the broad mountain ranges of the Black Forest. Afterwards, you will hike across the Chaltenbrunnen corridor to Frick. From here you climb to the edge of the forest of the Frickberg and walk to Grossacher. Continue on the Schienberg ridge, from which you can enjoy unique views. Along the edge of the forest you then descend to Sennhütten.Through cool forests and wide fields to the lookout point Cheisacher.
