Signposted themed path to the Schulenberg mining.
This themed trail leads through the history of Schulenberg mining from the beginning to the end of the subsequent use phase with the construction of the Okertalsperre.
On this hike one encounters the early mining in the form of Schulenberger outbreak, an impressive open pit from the early days of mining, the "large power plant" of the pit Juliane-Sophie that promoted until 1904 and traces of reuse of water in a turbine plant in the traffic jam Okertalsperre "drowned". A detailed description of the signage of this hike can be found in the book
    >> WasserWanderWege, by Martin Schmidt, Edited by Harzwasserwerke GmbH << available in the museum shop of the Oberharzer Bergwerksmuseum and in the bookstore Grosse in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
