A fabulous ride with spectacular views. Don't be misled by how easy the start is! The ascent up to the Bishops Road is relentlessly steep (look at the Elevation Profile) but well worth all the effort. Have a good breakfast before you set off as there are no cafes (which are open) around! Detour to National Trust Downhill for the gardens, the ruins and the amazing Ali's Coffee Cabin in the car park. Strongly recommended.
