"Narrenrad und Rädernarr" is the title of the current exhibition at Feininger-Galerie Quedlinburg with cartoons by Feiniger on the subject of bicycles. Definitely worth seeing - the city is worth seeing.
This time only as GPX import, the battery was empty. But it is not so bad, it was an insane tour. But then! Clever people have the actually beautiful trails with totally sharp-edged gravel from Mansfelder Bergbauabraum attached, z.T. for kilometers. The first breakdown did not wait. The replacement hose was now installed, as well as the rear wheel failed. So I had to push 10 km back to Hettstedt, here there were hoses. The remainder were only streets, for sure is safe.Time also comes around, even with tinkering and pushing; after Hettstedt pushed strong tailwind.
Wow ... 112km respect .. And nice pictures

How terrible-I would have called the tour "horror tour" and the causers sued'at least mentally 'good sliding performance'
... and mileage anyway👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀
SUPER Tour 👍
oh ha had the bake full of fun ... but such things remain unforgotten 😁
Great job. Also from me: Respect! 👍😉10 kilometer push ... you have to first overcome it😁
Great distance and probably something for the endurance and in most of the time away from the roads.Meanwhile, I already have exercise with the hose change 5x this year.
@ Patric: you do not want to hibernate out there, is quite a desolation. The mobile phone was still down, after 6 km I could ask someone for the first time, where I was.@groenke: yeah, the fun is always there, you make all sorts of fun thoughts (see also Waldläufer remark)
Supplement to Feiniger and the exhibition, so I went to Quedlinburg at all:Lyonel Feininger, an American, lived in Germany from 1887 to 1937, was a painter and graphic artist, also a teacher at the Bauhaus Weimar and Dessau, a representative of Cubism. It is less well known that he made cartoons for various newspapers and also produced comics. In addition to his urban landscapes (for example, in Halle) he has often painted as a technology enthusiast railways, trains and sailing ships. And he was a bicycle fan. For his sketches in the open air, he was constantly on the road, e.g. in the Weimar area, in Brandenburg and on the island of Usedom. On Usedom there is also the Feinigerradweg. He used a wheel of the American brand "Cleveland" that he had sent by ship. Such a bike is also in the exhibition. The drawing on the poster says: "Grandpa gives a little sprint to the best"(I have completed two drawings and a picture of the bike)
